In the winter snowmachining, cross and back-country skiing and in any season relaxing and enjoying the incredible sights of the Talkeetna Mountains.

The Musk Ox Farm, Reindeer Farm, Valley vegetable farms, numerous hiking trails, Knik Glacier, sightseeing flights, Colony House, Palmer Visitor's Center, and the Alaska State Fair in August.

In WASILLA enjoy:
The Iditarod Headquarters, Alaska Transportation Museum, Alaska Railroad Depot, Dorothy Page Museum. Further up the Parks Highway, the vast array of lakes and lake systems of Big Lake and the Nancy Lakes, and the salmon runs up the various rivers that the Parks Highway crosses. Visit the quaint town of Talkeetna, and weather permitting enjoy beautiful sights of Mt. McKinley - even take a flight seeing trip around the "Great One".
